Head of Production

Lumenati is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production to lead our video production team and oversee all aspects of video content creation. This role is responsible for managing the production process, ensuring high-quality execution, and maintaining efficiency across all video projects, from branded content to commercial campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring smooth workflows, optimized resource allocation, and on-time project delivery.

  • Lead and manage a team of producers, cinematographers, editors, and freelancers, fostering a high-energy, collaborative culture.

  • Work closely with creative leadership to bring concepts to life while maintaining brand and client alignment.

  • Manage production schedules, budgets, and project forecasting, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks.

  • Continuously streamline workflows, tools, and reporting structures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and team engagement.

  • Monitor project health, track key decisions, and document best practices to ensure reliability and scalability.

  • Communicate regularly with department heads, flagging challenges and driving process improvements as the company evolves.

  • Maintain quality control across all stages of production, from pre-production to final delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience (5+ years) managing video production teams and complex projects.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with teams, vendors, and clients.

  • A passion for building a positive, energetic, and fun team culture.

  • Experience working on branded content and commercial productions.

  • Proficiency in production planning tools, including Google Drive, Excel, and project management software.

  • Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and a strong understanding of post-production processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with studio and on-location production and ability to troubleshoot technical challenges on set.

Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000+
